About

I am presently working as an Assistant Professor at the department of History, Majuli University of Culture, Assam. I was a Senior Research Fellow of the University Grants Commission at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in Vadodara and completed my PhD in 2024. I hold master's degrees in History from Gauhati University in Guwahati and in Archaeology from Visva-Bharati University in Shanti Niketan. I also hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology, from Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India, New Delhi, India. I have travelled extensively throughout India and abroad, that gives me the opportunity to observe and learn about the country's and the world's rich heritage. I have extensive field experience in archaeological exploration and excavation.
