Inauguration of the new Academic Building and Girls’ Hostel at Majuli University of Culture

Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has officially inaugurated the new Academic Building and Girls’ Hostel at Majuli University of Culture. With an investment of nearly ₹51 crore, these state-of-the-art facilities include: Academic Block: Space for 1,880 students with modern, tech-enabled classrooms. Girls' Hostel: Safe, premium accommodation for 178 students. As the University prepares to introduce Arts and Science streams, it is well on its way to becoming a premier institution that celebrates and strengthens Assam’s rich cultural and academic heritage.
