On the 1st of June, 2024, Majuli University of Culture celebrated its 7th Foundation Day. Professor  Dambrudhar Nath, the esteemed historian and the University's first Vice-Chancellor, presided as the chief guest of the foundation day celebrations. During the ceremony, he presented a lecture titled "Majuli." In the meeting, Professor Janhavi Gogoi, a renowned professor of the Department of History, Dibrugarh University, officially launched the anthem of Majuli University of Culture.
