A prestigious lecture programme has been organised by Department of Assamese, Majuli University of Culture. Registrar, MUC, Dr. B. C. Borah has delivered welcome speech of the programme. Prof. Arpana Konwar, Department of Assamese, Dibrugarh University, has given a speech in the topic "ভাৰতৰ উত্তৰ-পূৰ্বাঞ্চলৰ ভাষা আৰু ভাষিক স্থিতি". Furthermore, Prof. Satyakam Barthakur has also delivered a speech in the topic "লোকসংস্কৃতিৰ ভৱিষ্যৎ”.
