On the 25th of August 2023, the Majuli University of Culture conducted the inauguration of the TEJWASHITA SHILPASALA, which will serve as the edifice for its Performing Arts Department. Additionally, Sri Bhuban Gam, MLA of Majuli, formally commenced the operation of a University ambulance, a generous contribution from BCPL, Dibrugarh.

Conversely, the University community extended a warm welcome to the newcomers at the TEJWASHITA SHILPASALA. The occasion was graced by the presence of Prof. Gopal Chandra Hazarika, a retired professor from Dibrugarh University, who assumed the role of the Chief Guest in the freshers' welcome convention. The program was rendered vibrant by a diverse array of cultural activities, proficiently executed by the students of Majuli University of Culture.
