The First Convocation of Majuli University of Culture was successfully held today. The Honorable Chancellor, Governor of Assam, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, graced the First Convocation of Majuli University of Culture with his presence. Professor K. K. Deka, former Vice-Chancellor of Dibrugarh University and Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev University, was the Distinguished Speaker at the convocation. Renowned Artist and Film Personality Shri Bishnu Khargoria and Renowned Sattriya Culture Artist Shri Kanuna Borah were conferred Honoris Causa (Honorary Doctorates) during the Convocation.
